Hi everyone and welcome! Up today for dolly adoption is precious "Marina" by the gifted Fayzah Spanos. "Marina" is a limited edition vinyl doll. Her production year was 1997 and she was limited to 470 worldwide. This baby girl is very special as she is the prototype for the line. Her eyes were blue instead of green which the edition had. She is not part of the edition but a doll offered to HSN before the line was created! She is very special and truly one of a kind! She is marked QA/470 on her neck. During a signing Fayzah signed her for my mom on her tummy. "Marina" was released with her baby sister "Savina" They both wear sailor outfits! I show "Savina" in the pics but she is not included in this listing. "Marina" has long red hair. Her eyes unfortunately have faded to a light periwinkle or lavender shade. I have seen this happen in the older girls. They actually look pretty cool and just add to her "uniqueness"!! :o) Marina's original outfit is an adorable white sailor dress with red & blue trim/accents. There is a matching hat. She did not have shoes. It is a real little girls dress. My mom always put angel pins and the cute Fayzah cherub pins on her dolls! I left it on the collar. I dressed "Marina" in a sweet Disney Winnie the Pooh spring outfit. It was purchased years ago for a Fayzah doll to wear. The outfit consists of a white dress with vibrant reds, oranges & yellows. The pattern is a garden theme with tomatoes, carrots apples etc. There is an embroidery of Pooh on the dress with a watering can. It has a matching hat with an embroidered Pooh holding flowers and matching shoes! How cute!!! She is also wearing a pretty celery green sweater that goes with the set. It has an embroidered Pooh planting on one side and piglet on the other. The dress is sleeveless so it should have a blouse under the dress. :o) I always kept the sweater on! There are a few marks on "Marina's" left leg. please left me know if you would like a pic. "Marina" is a big girl at approx 30". She does not have a COA or box PLEASE make sure you read the description and look at the pics BEFORE you purchase!
