These are absolutely gorgeous Victorian Mantle lusters (lustres?) in fabulous condition. The enameling is in beautiful condition, the rare and wonderful crimped and ruffled edges have no chips or cracks - how great is that! T are no chips, cracks or any damage that I can find on either piece. Each luster is 14" tall, and approximately 7" wide at the widest point. Each luster is adorned by 9 crystal prisms - each prism is about 5" long and all the prisms are also in tip top condition! I found another pair of lusters similar to the pair I'm offering on a website - /shops/antiquesonascot/item/GL-8135 - I would guess that they might be the same manufacturer but the ones I have are more dramatic and fancier. (I have no affiliation with the anyone in the aforementioned website.) The color is best represented in the first (gallery) photo - it's a rich custardy color and the enameling is radiant. If you've got that magnificent mantle or impressive dining room table, these are for you!To be honest, I know nothing about this sort of item other than I know they're lusters and used to sit on the fireplace mantle of the formal dining room of my husband's grandmother.
