My name is Laura Campbell and I live in Pennsylvania with my husband of 38 yrs. I have 4 children and 13 grandchildren. I have been creating these gorgeous babies for over 8 years now and it is my passion. I truly love this art and I am always learning new techniques.This adorable reborn baby girl has been carefully brought to life using many layers of heat set genesis paints. These paints are permanent and very durable.I have spent many hours creating her very realistic baby skin tone. All pellets are contained inside a bag in the bodyNO SAND is ever used in any of my babies. They can be shipped anywhere in the World.I used Genesis Heat Set Paints as many as 16-20 thin layers to give this little sweety her realistic beautiful skin color. This baby has African American coloring skintone. This coloring technique is from Lara Antonucci of Angels In Waiting Babies. She has blushing in all the right places. All her wrinkles and creases have been carefully shaded in a newborn coloring. Her lips and nails have been carefully painted and moisture sealer added for a moist look like a real baby. Her feet and palms are a light color. Inside her nose has been carefully shaded. Her mouth has been perfectly colored and moisture added for a wet look. This sweet baby is much more precious looking in real life--pictures do not do her justice..Her hair is micro hand rooted and double sealed inside her head with water proof glue. Babies hair is black brown color. Her hair is long and is directionally rooted so it is combed up on her head in pigtails. I buy the best angora premium mohair I can purchase and wash, condition and dye it for each baby. All my hair is of the best quality. Her hair can be gently sprayed with water/conditioner and restyled. Her hair is really nice, has a touch of curl and looks like a real babies hair. Here eyelashes are same as her hair and glued also.Her premium soft body is doe suede material and her 3/4 limbs are attached by plastic cables. I use plastic tiny beads for filling with some non rusting metal pellets for weight, all contained inside her body in a bag and surrounded by soft poly fill. Her 3/4 limbs are jointed land have the same materials inside. She is soft to hold-not overly stuffed. I use the best materials I can buy for all my dolls. Her head is slightly floppy like any newborns and care must be taken when she is picked up. Her head turns nicely. Many hours where spent on working on her. Baby does have a very strong magnet in her head for use with her pacifier so beware around electronis and people with pacemakers.She will go to her new home with the followingThe set includes:~Ooh La La Pink Paris 0-3 month baby dress.~~By Designer: My Designs.
