# Gorgeous Vibrant Limoges Grape Punch Bowl with Gold Search I have for your consideration a vibrant and stunning Limoges punch bowl bearing the Tressemann & Vogt underglaze mark 7 (circa 1892). The punch bowl is proudly signed and dated by the artist, J. N. Finekel 1908. This wonderful punch bowl is large, standing 6" high, measuring 13" in diameter, and coming in at 43" in circumference! Its footed base is trimmed in a band of gold gild with a slightly wider band of dar green sponged gold directly above it. The outside of the bowl is done is soft swirling and blended hues of yellows, greens, oranges, blues, and beige. Against this palette the artist has hand painted some of the most dramatic and realistic red and purple grapes I have ever seen! The shading and use of shadow shows the superior talent of this artist as they appear to be three dimensional and just ripe for the picking. The brown vines with twining and tightly curled tendrils bear large green leaves. The fabulous art work does not stop there. TThe artist has continued his magnicent show by hand painting large clusters of red, dark purple, and blush white grapes on the inside of the bowl.
