BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE CAMEO PIN/PENDANT IN ORNATE STERLING SILVER - SIGNED BEAU STERLING This gorgeous cameo is in excellent pre-owned vintage condition. It is 1-5/8" inches high and 1-1/8" wide. The pin is signed on the back "BEAU STER". The genuine cameo is carved into a lovely victorian styled lady who is so pretty with her delicate features. Her hair is done in an upswept style and she is wearing an off-the-shoulder style dress with a flower or corsage pinned at her shoulder. I have seen many cameos, but I really think this cameo is simply one of the prettiest I have ever seen. You will not be disappointed with her - she is amazing. The sterling silver that surrounds her is very ornate with fancy scrollwork. The pin stick is straight and is in perfect working condition. The back of the pin has a hidden bale which enables you to wear this lovely lady on a silver chain or ribbon around your neck. It is hard to find this type of jewelry today. These wonderful cameo jewelry pieces were popular in an era w women wore lace dresses and sat on their porches sipping lemonade and entertaining visitors. The world was not as hurried and frantic as it is today and I think it is simply wonderful to wear something so gorgeous that is reminiscent of those laid-back and genteel bygone Victorian days.
