This metal box is one of the most decorative andbeautiful pieces of tole ware I've seen.I picked this up years ago at the auctionof the caretaker's house at what used to beThe Clearview Farm, in Butler, PA. What used to be the Clearview Farm is now wherethe Clearview Mall stands.The lid has a wonderful bouquet of lush roses and florals that are hand painted on the yellow background. A green border surrounds the top.The inside is just overflowing with more lushhand painted roses and flowers.There are six compartments in the box and all six plus the inside of the lid are decorated.The box is 8 3/4" x 12 3/4" and 1 3/4" deepThere is a slight bit of rust on the interior in a few corners, and a few areas where the paint has chipped a bit.A truly beautiful piece or artwork,that could be used for many things,or simply display.Please review photos carefully.**************I charge only actual postage and insurance.
