Vintage Designer Miriam Haskell Necklace This is an absolutely beautiful vintage necklace by designer Miriam Haskell. It is exquisitely fashioned with three gleaming strands of lustrous oval faux baroque pearls . The glossy pearls are strung in between gorgeous heavy gilt filigree spacer beads that are flanked on either side with small lustrous baroque pearls and tiny antiqued gold tone spacer beads. The necklace strands come together at the back with beautiful accents of hand wired faux pearls and gilt filigree flowers, with one end bearing a floral hook clasp and the other, a dangling extension strand of lustrous faux pearls. This gorgeous necklace is quite substantial with its several strands of pearls and gilt filigree. It measures approx. 15 1/4" with the extension strand. This jewelry is signed twice with the designer's hallmark on a cartouche on the back of one of the gilt pearl flowers and the necklace floral clasp. This lovely necklace is in good vintage condition over all with some spots of wear noted on the pearls, also a few tiny pearls in the flower clusters show loss of coating ( though not very noticeable due to the small size). The pearls, however, have incredible gleam and luster and the gold metal has an even beautiful patina. This is an elegant and classic example of Miriam Haskell jewelry. Anyone will be delighted
