Vintage powder compact with a pretty basket of flowers design on a black background. Pretty patterned goldtone surround and a lovely base, in a quilted style design. The catch is very unusual - a sort of upright lever catch, inside is an inner bevelled lid, good mirror, original sifter, no puff. Closure is firm and the condition is very nice. Marked Foreign on inner lid, probably continental European. A generous size - the diameter is 4 inches.A really lovely vintage compact in good condition.
