You are looking at a Gorham sterling silver plate. The plate measures 10 1/2" in diameter and stands approx 1" tall (from table to plate edge). The bottom is clearly marked Gorham sterling 746 and has all the proper trademarks. This plate is in good condition except for some fairly deep scratches in the bowl area. They could possibly be buffed out. Otherwise this plate weights 423 grams and would bring good money as scrap. The plate is solid sterling silver and does not appear to be weighted in any way. T is no reserve so good luck bidding and thanks for looking. I vigorously encourage you to ask any questions you may have to help clarify identification or condition, as I may have omitted information that you as a buyer or collector feel is important.
