I have a period circa 1880's ball and claw Gothic Revival candleholder. During this time t was a huge movement toward gothic type decoration. It was mostly reflected in cemetery monuments and few examples of decorative home pieces were made. This piece came out of an old building that was a funeral home for over 75 years. The detail is fantastic and you must see it in person! A rare example and to find another would be a remarkable feat if not impossible! Measurements: 5 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide.
