This is a 1978 Gottlieb Pyramid pinball machine, one of the last electromechanical pinball machines made. The same game design was used on 4 player Cleopatra in both EM and solid state versions.With a production of 950, it is not frequently seen and is the least common of the three variations made.This one is mostly working, with issues. Flippers, bumpers and kickers are strong. It will play and score a game but always starts as a 2 player game. It also wants to recount the bonus from the last game at the start of a new game. Double bonus may not always work right. A previous owner took out the 3rd prong on the wall plug. So a new 3 prong plug should be installed.As seen above, to buy this game, you should be knowledgeable in EM pinball repair, or have access to someone who is. A copy of the Pyramid schematic will be included with the game.I would say that the cabinet is good, and the backglass is very nice, though not perfect. There is no backglass paint flaking, but there is a little cracking in some areas and some small spots of paint loss from rubbing.The playfield has some cupping on the light inserts which has led to some playfield wear. Some of the bonus inserts are loose. There is also typical playfield wear where the ball drops from the kick out holes and some under the pop bumper "playfield protector" rings. A couple of read more
