Gotz Sigikid Doll by artist Sabine Esche. 1990. 257/ 1500 Cloth & VinylDescriptionPresenting a Sigikid doll designed by artist Sabine Esche for Gotz of Germany. We do not have her paperwork or shelf box. The artist's initials, signature and the date 1990 are on the back of the neck. Also on the neck is the numbering 257 / 1500 along with the digits 28160. This dark blonde, blue eyed doll measures approximately 24 inches long. Cloth and vinyl. Knees are bent for display in the sitting position.We purchased an estate which included many high end dolls. This is one of several German dolls we are auctioning. This doll was in a smoker's house who owned pets. The doll and box have these smells from the previous owner. We have not attempted to clean this doll. There is visible dust on the doll and a small amount of soil as well.We are unsure if this doll is dressed in her original outfit and may be missing original accessories. The outfit is aging and yellowed, discolored and faded. Her flowered dress bears a Sigikid tag on the outside of the skirt. The shoes have some light scuffs and the glue on the soles is beginning to fail. The hair is messy and we have not attempted to restyle it. We are not sure if the hair has been altered. Some very soft rub marks and some light soiling on the cloth and vinyl. No deep scratches or damage.Please read more
