Offered here is a vintage black Military 4x5 Speed Graphic camera (Graflex serial #892532 -- see photo #6). The lens is a 127mm Kodak Ektar f/4.7 with an all-black Supermatic-x shutter; it works sharply at all speeds (1 sec. to 1/400, plus T&B). The Kodak lens is serial #RC5140 (I believe that the "RC" on the lens dates the camera to 1951, but I cannot be absolutely certain of this); the action of the lens is smooth through all f-stops. The camera has a metal military ID plate attached to the underside of the top, showing the following information: * SIGNAL CORPS * US ARMY * CAMERA * STILL PICTURE * KE12(1) * SERIAL NUMBER 1870 * It also has a sticker next to the identification plate with the following information: * PRESIDIO OF SAN FRANCISCO * SIGNAL MAINTENANCE DIV * CALIBRATION SERVICE * CALIBRATED 18 DEC 1961 * (NOTE: it is impossible to capture a photo of the above 2 items, as they are literally attached to the inside of the top of the camera housing). This camera features both a View viewfinder and a side-mount Kalart Rangefinder; both are clear and appear to be accurate. The lens is clear, and both the focal plane and supermatic shutters are working properly. The bellows are supple, with no light-leaks, and in absolutely remarkable condition. The leather handstrap is flexible and shows almost no signs of wear (see photo read more
