Here for bid is a really spectacular collection of GAR medals and ribbons from Illinois. These are dated from 1890 to 1903. Medals include a MOH recipient as described below.The 1893 from Galesburg has a two sided Bakelite type pendant that is outstanding.The 1890 ribbon is 6.5 x 2.5.The 1899 Ribbon with pendant with General Black and Bakelite bar is very nice. it is 8 inches. General Black was a Medal of Honor recipient for action at Prairie Grove, Arkansas in 1862The triangular pendant and Ribbon are dated 1903.The button and pin complete the collection.It ships in the box as pictured.
