is a very rare 1905 era 4" tall china handled pitcher for Grand Union Hotel that was in Sarasota Springs, New York. The Grand Union Hotel was a Summer Resort Hotel (during this era) and was very popular amongst the elite who would travel by Delaware & Hudson or the Boston & Maine Railroads to resort at the hotel during the warmer season. The hotel was complete with lavish dining rooms, and even a most spectacular courtyard. This creamer features a highly detailed multi-colored image of the hotel on the front, which really looks great! T is no manufacturer on the bottom of the creamer, but it looks like it could be Jonroth. The creamer does have several some chips to the top and bottom rims, but they do not distract that much. The handle is very ornate and the top and bottom rims are scalloped and look great. Other than the small little chips, the creamer looks wonderful. This is the lighweight type Railroad, Steamship, and Lunch Counter type souvenir china. A wonderful addition to your Hotel, Silver Plate, Coffee Pot, Creamer, Pitcher, or Tea Pot Collection and it is ready to be displayed.
