Graphic early veterinary tin for Newton's heave, cough, distemper and indegestion compound. Medeicine for wind through and stomach troubles. Tin is made by the American Can Co but still uses victorian border designs typical of 19th century tins. Must date to right around 1900. Remarkable company trade mark of a sulky race driver with horse showing skeletal bones. The graphics of this tin have always been a my second favorite of any veterinary tin, and quality examples are highly priced. This example is quite flawed but still maintains a respectable display shelf appeal. The only graphic side is the most clean of all 4 sides with widespread shallow dents and a few marginal paint blemishes. Top has no lid and no gold shine finish. Tin measures 7" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". Buyer pays $6.00 mail.
