Out of curiosity I did follow the instructions and manage to cut a few quartz basic brilliants. Since the points lined up and the finished stones were acceptable for a beginner, I believe the machine must be pretty good. This must be a fun hobby for many, however during my trial it seemed more like work than play. This would be a great starter setup for you to make your own decision. The only thing I would do if I were to start using it is replace the original drive belt (standard v-belt). Shipping I estimate shipping will need to be calculated for 60 pounds and a 30x15x12 box. Once auction is closed I will calculate actual shipping and your invoice will have the accurate amount. I will add $5.00 for materials to the actual shipping cost. No charge for local pick-up.
