On Monday, October 21st, artist Alan Forbes was attacked in the Lower Haight neighborhood of San Francisco. The attack left him with two skull fractures and damage to his right eye. As do a lot of artists, he has no insurance to cover the growing medical expenses. To help cover his medical expenses, various organizations have generously donated various products for fundraising. All proceeds for these sales will go towards his medical expenses. San Francisco based artist Alan Forbes is known for his logos and record covers for such bands as The Black Crowes, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, The Offspring, AFI, and many others as well as hundreds of silkscreened posters, shirts, and other band related merchandise.
