United States Lines: From the onboard S.S. UNITED STATES china service, a Gray Star pattern 5.25" diameter bowl described in the USL china manual as a "fruit or dessert saucer".Bottom-marked on the plate is the manufacturer's name, Lamberton Sterling, along with "Made Expressly for United States Lines".
