Graymark-510 '5 Tube Super' kit. You are looking at a 1950s-60s, un-built, Graymark 510 '5 Tube Super' radio kit. This is a do it yourself 'All American Five' super heterodyne radio receiver with five vacuum tubes This kit has it all.. Parts, Literature (right down to warranty card), original box (little wear and some writing), even the packaging for the parts, such as the tube boxes and wrapping for the knobs. Remember, it is un-built and waiting on someone to put it together. This kit is in great shape for having been stored for so long. I found this excerpt from a web page about 'All American Five' Radios. "Afterthoughts, Three Years Later. Much scorn has been heaped on the little AA5 by myself and others but the truth is it's a wonder of design and simplicity. The word is starting to get around and local antique dealers are bringing me their AA5s to put into operating condition. I have had the opportunity to see a great many different radios. The marvel is how well they work considering their construction. T's no such thing as a wiring harness. Wires go every which way, crossing over, twisted around, power next to audio, audio next to RF, power next to RF. Terminal strips are seldom used or used in great moderation. That sometimes means that wires are just brought together in the middle of the air and soldered together. Yet still they keep on ticken. I do not ever recommend that you send cash to anyone and please do not send it to me, I am honest but mistakes happen and that envelope will touch a lot of hands before it reaches mine, not to mention that with checks, money orders, or Paypal you have records and can only (easily) be used by the person they are sent to.If you decide to pay with something that gets mailed please allow for mailing time, I will not ship any item that isn't paid for. If the mailed payment is personal check, please allow time for the check to clear before the item is shipped. Shipping; As long as everything runs smoothly, shipping will be done the day after full payment is received. If that day falls on a Sunday or holiday then shipping will be done on the next day that mailing centers are open. The shipping company I use will be determined by what can get to you the fastest. I like to ship with UPS or DHL because they are easy to work with, reliable and easy to track. I will not use FED EX and do not like to use USPS.
