This nice Antique Metal Covered Mold is market Fresh from a Northern Maine home. We have purchased a large collection of items from a couple originally from Mass that are moving back and do not want to transport it back with them. We will be listing many pieces so watch our sell page for more from this fabulous collection. All are guaranteed old and original! This has a great shape. It measures 7" tall to the top of the handle, 4.25" square at the bottom, and 6.25" square at the top.. The of the handle is stamped 398 2L. It is in great condition with only a few small dimples and some minor surface rust. I am not quite sure what the metal is. I think that it is a thick tin. It weighs 2.10# on a postal scale. It has wonderful patina. Please do not ask us to end our auction as we will not do that. What a wonderful addition to your collection. Please email with questions.
