This is a choice brilliant uncirculated silver Gothic florin or two shillings dated 1852 from the reign of Queen Victoria of Great Britain. Most of my buyers prefer graded coins and know fully what to expect. If I describe a coin as BU then that is how the vast majority of British coin dealers in my experience would describe the coin. It should be noted that many eBay sellers describe their coins as " high grade" or "collectable" but fight shy of attributing specific grades to their coins. I know that grading can be a very subjective matter but I think my feedback record speaks for the quality of the coins that I offer. I also try to describe the coins as fully as I can as grades and pictures alone are not always enough. Amen! Graded MS64 and slabbed by PCGS, one of the world's 2 leading numismatic grading services, this is a guarantee that thecoin is genuine and has been graded accurately and professionally. The solid plastic capsule is individually numbered so that the coin details can be verified on a central database and it is tamperproof. In addition, the coin is protected from handling which can be detrimental to the coin's condition and value. These are some of the reasons why such coins are highly marketable, especially in the USA where values are steadily rising in the face of counterfeits originating from the Far East. read more
