This is a beautiful uncirculated silver halfcrown dated 1901 from the reign of Queen Victoria of Great Britain. Another superb coin with semi-prooflike fields to both obverse and reverse and with light frosty rosey/orange/lilac toning/irridescence making this a most attractive coin! Difficult to capture in the pictures but fantastic to hold in the hand. Most of my buyers prefer NGC graded coins and know fully what to expect. If I describe a coin as BU then that is how the vast majority of British coin dealers in my experience would describe the coin. It should be noted that many eBay sellers describe their coins as " high grade" or "collectable" but fight shy of attributing specific grades to their coins.
