Up for sale is a great color Lithograph of members of the Yuma tribe. This piece is the result of sketches done by Heinrich B. Mollhausen (1825-1905) while a member of Joseph Ives' Survey of the Colorado River in 1857-1858. The Credits on the plate read from the top left Colorado Exploring Expedition, plate number II top right; lower left H.B. Mollhausen Del. and lower right Lith of Sarony, Major & Knapp, 449 Broadway, NY . It measures approximately 8.5 inches by 11. This is a rare piece and it is in nice condition. Some light staining mostly around boarders. No rips or tears etc.. Colors are bright. A previous owner clipped this print and several others I have for sale from a book so there are places where one may want to clip it or straighten the clip but I ll leave that to the next owner. This would look great framed. Please email with questions and see my store for other great items.
