Up for bid is a Great Eastern Cutlery "Scout" Trapper Style knife . This is the #73 pattern with the Drop Point/Skinner blade. This is the Model No. 735108EC (EC indicating that this knife has an End Cap - which most of the Scout style knives do not have). It comes with beautiful and well matched Burnt Stag Handles. The blade is etched with the Great Eastern Trademark with the image of the two squirrels. It has the acorn shield indicating that the knife blade is 440C stainless steel. It comes with the original wax wrapping paper and shipping tube. This knife is 3 3/4" long when closed and was proudly made in the USA in Titusville, PA in 2008. CONDITION: The knife is in what I would call "near dead mint" condition. It is pristine and absolutely gorgeous in every way. The beautiful stag scales are perfectly matched in color and thickness. [I believe that each stag scale has a small crack (see the last two pictures). The front scale has a minor crack on the left side toward the bottom, right next to the end cap; I can feel it with my fingernail (it looks like a stress crack that is in no danger of splitting out). The back scale appears to have a minor 1/8" crack right next to the bolster on the hinge end, about 2/3 of he way down towards the backspring (I can't feel it, but believe I can see it).] The blade has no scratches or imperfections read more
