FIRST OF ALL THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND BEING INTERESTED IN THIS Northfield BEN HOGAN 1 of 25 FOOLS GOLD handle knife. I am sure if you are looking at this knife you know about GREAT EASTERN. But just in case,,,if you are new to this brand. It was established in 2006 in Titusville Pa.One would think "Bad timing to start a company"....and..."they will learn in a few decades how to make knives if they survive this economy". WRONG! In a few years they have the reputation among collectors and demanding users "The BEST production folding knives anybody makes today." (I would add to this category CANAL STREET -which has way fewer models- and Schatt&Morgan knives) Their popularity, took off like a rocket among collectors. Their knives represent the finest US knife making tradition going back a 100 years in style, quality and craftmanship. THIS KNIFE: 65111EC/SAB issue 1 of 25 FIRST YEAR issue 2011 Sabre Grind Double pull Swedged on both side Beautifully detailed blade -rare and ONLY 2011 SAB ISSUE NONE of them are listed in production totals by GEC.
