Great French or English vintage gentleman mahogany tool chest/box in great lightly used condition. Has some visiable sign of use over the years but nothing serious. Chest is well made with dovetails joints and lid decorated with nice inlay. All hardware is made of solid brass. I do not believe chest is as old as date on the lid implay but is old. Maybe this numbers have a dieferent meaning. Comes with fwo brass keys. Because of slight warping in lock area side has to be pressed down to engage locking mechanizm. Dimensions are as foolow: Lenght 23", width 9 1/2" and height is 10". It is just the right size to accomodate moderate size set of tools in style...The buyer will pay $ 26.00 for Parcel Post shipping in continetal U.S.
