Up for auction is a wonderful lot of Fire King Glassware in the Gay Fad Fruit pattern. T are 5 pieces (two of which have lids), and they are hand painted by Gay Fad Studios. Included are the following pieces: § 1 - 9 inch loaf pan which measures approximately 9 x 5 inches; § 1 - pint size casserole with lid, approximately 5½ inches in diameter; § 1 - 6 inch bowl in the Colonial Kitchen shape; § 1 - 8¾ inch bowl in the Colonial Kitchen shape; § 1 - rectangular refrigerator dish with lid, approximately 8 x 4 inches The bottoms of the bowls and the refrigerator dish are manufacturer marked " Fire King Oven Ware ". The bottom of the loaf pan is marked " Anchor Hocking Fire King ". The bottom of the casserole is marked " Fire King ". All are marked " Made in U.S.A .". T are no chips, cracks, or stains on any of the pieces. The glass lid to the 1 pint casserole does have a couple of rough spots, or tiny fleabites, on the underside of the outer rim. Please see pictures below. The paint is in very good condition with little loss. These pieces are hand painted so you will notice some imperfections and the fruit designs are not exactly the same. T are minor ash marks or manufacturing marks typical to Fire King. These pieces would make a wonderful addition to a collection! Any item I sell is used or vintage unless otherwise noted. read more
