This is a 1946 Bouillon Cup Stand made by the International Silver Company for the GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY and a Syracuse China Bouillon Cup 1-5/8" Tall - Top is 4" Round - Base is 2-3/4" Round - Weighs about 8.9 oz. Top lip of stand has the intertwined GN letters on 2 sides Bottom stamped GREAT NORTHERN RY. International Silver Co. Silver Soldered - 05082 - 46 (in square) Syracuse China Cup is 2-1/8" tall and a 1-1/2" round raised base that fits into base of stand. Bottom stamped Syracuse China 95-G July 1966 (I had an original bouillon cup that was made by Sterling China for another piece that I sold that looked exactly the same as this piece; except that the date code was older) Cup rub marks in bottom of stand - dings dents scratches - needs good cleaning PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTOS CLOSELY This is still a very nice piece, and very collectible even in this condition. Item comes from a NON-SMOKING home I have sold several pieces over the years, and my buyers know the quality of my items This would make a very nice gift for any Railroadiana fan , Collector, or even a museum/historical society piece.
