You are bidding on an original CDV photograph of General U. S. Grant, in Uniform..� The card on which the photo is mounted measures approx.. 3 7/8” x 2 3/8” and the photo itself measures approx.. 2 ¼” x 3 3/8”.� The card is probably in about very good condition with a little wear and rounding at the corners, a small crease at the corners and some darkening, spotting and cloudiness, including some darker spots in the lower border.� The photo is in better condition with some spotting and cloudiness some scuffs and scratches, and some light spots in the top right quarter which are flaws, including a light spot above Grant’s left eye and one below it, (his left eye, obviously on the right side of the card, just so there is no confusion).� There is moderate darkening, spotting and/or cloudiness on the back of the card.� � Please see our other auctions of vintage items including other vintage postcards, photos and other paper items.
