Not really sure how to classify this great hand decorated pair of cows. Are they Art? Whimsey? or a Business Brand item...Anyhow they were made for the Montreal Casein Co. Ltd. which was a cheese company that was sold to another similar company in 1979. They were made in Italy and are signed by the artist but sadly, I can't figure out the signature. Each cow is 7 inches long and stands5 &1/2 inches tall to the top of the horns. The pair are close to identical but decor is slightly different on each. They could be bookends, or ???? If you're a cow collector, you need this pair. I'm happy to answer any questions. Shipping is by Priority or Parcel Post to USA. International shipping is Priority only.
