Superb Vintage Persian-Russian SilverCigarette/Card Holder Case !! Fine Antique Silver (not silver plated!) Cigarette Case.Of rectangular shape, beautifully decorated with engine turned pattern all around. Marked with Russian silver mark-84. T is any monogram on the case. This lovely case have a rectangular shape, fully hand engraved beautiful pattern, typical Persian style on both sides. As you can see on the detail photos I added, this work is unbelievably fine and delicate. With motive of flower, leaves, lotus and geometric pattern as well as lovely little birds among. I can say to you, every time you look on this decoration, you can find something new! Measures: about 4"5/8inches (11.8cm) x 3" inches (7.6cm) and 3/8" inch (1.0cm) of thickness. Weight: 5.201 oz.(147.5g.)As hallmark we have Russian - Persian " 84 " mark inside. Condition: VERY GOOD! with no repairs or damage. However, commensurate with the age of the case, I can see few dents around the edge and slightly scratched mainly inside. But for its age this case is in surprising great shape - not beat up as cases of this age are. The open/close system is also working very well and close fasten safely.T is holes ready to put straps on both sides. This item is an absolute must for any serious antique collector.
