Great Vintage Bumperettes Store Display by Impko . This lot features a great store display of various sayings on each bumper sticker. The bumper stickers are in their original plastic bags stapled to the cardboard display which reads "Self stick easy to apply bumperettes. Can be used as zany hatbands, can be used for bumpers, luggage, etc. Originally marketed at 10 cents a piece". These were manufactured by Impko. The travel-decal industry was populated by a number of manufacturers -- most notably a New Jersey printing company marketed under the trade name Impko, who's logo showed an alien-like smiling imp. Impko was by no means limited to travel decals -- they printed all kinds of other wonderful art, bicycle and cartoon decals. Impko is long gone, and the trademark was abandoned many years ago. The bumper stickers and their quantities are: "Made in Detroit by Idiots" (14), "Don't be a parking pig" (20), "Turn Left" (13), "This car owned by the bank" (18), & "99,999 payments to go" (17). T is wear to the cardboard display. The bumperettes are sealed in their original cellophane wrappers. Overall display with stickers measure ( 1/4" x 13". This is a great collectible! Rare to find one in such a complete state. These sell as is without reserve.
