Superb Great War (WW1) 1914-15 Star Trio & Meritorious Service Medal (GV) Group to Walter James Halls Royal Garrison Artillery who was Awarded an Immediate MSM for service in Italy one of only 20 such awards to the RGA. Group is Original in all aspects, nmaing is fully & correctly Impressed on each medal, comes with Extensive Original Documents Discharge Certificates etc (See photos) Halls joined the Great Western Railways and served right up into 1945 with them being awarded nemerious 1st Aid Awards, the Silver St Johns Medalion & Chain are all Silver Hall Marked from the Medalion up until 1941 all have his St John Number on from 1921 - 1958. Also included is a 9ct Gold Cased Great Western Railway 15yrs First Aid Medal & other 1st aid medalions. Some interesting Original Photogarphs of Hall & his Wife & of Ypres after WW1 inculding a Damaged British WW1 Tank.
