I am offering a beautiful 2 piece antique Victorian Era Greek Revival style 2 piece bedroom suite. Made from Kentucky walnut and enhanced with burl..........this is in wonderful condition for the age. From a well-to-do estate sale this was in the front "company" bedroom. It holds a full size mattress nicely with room to spare for dressing the bed. It stands over 7 feet tall in the center............the bed rails are unique in that they attach to the head and foot boards with metal nested into a crevice hewn out to support the sides and they also have a hook and eye...of which I have never seen on this style bed before and I have 3 more very similiar to this one. The side rails are lovely shown-off by the bed dressing or you could cover them to the floor..............my personal beds all have bed skirts attached to a metal rod and extended side-to-side and end-to-end on 3 sides to reflect the beautiful wood on the side and keep you from seeing underneath the bed. The bed is not properly dressed in these pictures but thought this would show more of the bed than the dressing. The dresser is magnificent with marble, candle stands and glove boxes on each side.
