The item for bid is an Elegant Green Depression Glass Water Pitcher, w/Pink Handle, in an "INVERTED COIN SPOT OPTIC" pattern that was made by an Unknown Maker in the 1930's. The piece has an Applied Loop Handle and Pulled Spout, and probably with the flared shape of the rim had a lid originally. Not only does the pitcher have the coin spot pattern on the interior surface, it also has a faint Diamond Optic pattern on the neck that can be seen when held to the light, the shoulder has three (3) 1/2" wide Joined Bands around the circumference, and the tapered bottom has two (2) identical Joined Bands. The piece has wonderful clarity and pattern detail, and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with no visible defects. It has a beautiful brilliant fluorescence when placed beneath a black light. It measures 9-5/8" tall, 4-1/8" diameter across the top rim, 7" wide from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle, 5-1/4" diameter at the widest point of the body, and the base is 4" diameter.
