Up for auction is this beautiful set of (2) Green Depression Glass, Uranium, Vaseline Glass Measuring Cups.THE FIRST ONE...This is a really nice, Vintage T & S Uranium, Vaseline Glass 2 cup/ 1 pint/ 16oz measuring cup with a hand mixer and/or egg beater. It is marked T & S, HANDMAID, MADE IN U.S.A. on the bottom. It is also marked MADE IN U.S.A. T & S on the mixer as well. The numbers and the letters on this piece are raised. It is in really great condition except for (2) small rough spots on the pour spout (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS). Please also notice the handle of the mixer has a split in it. There is also rust on the metal. This does not affect the function of it. It nests perfectly inside the rim of the cup and it spins freely. It measures approx. 12" tall with the mixer/beaters in place. From the outer edge of the pour spout to the outer edge of the handle it measures 7" wide. The cup itself measures 5 ¼" tall. Overall, the design of this piece is stellar!!! From the handle, to the mixer, to the pedestal bottom, it is a beauty!THE SECOND ONE...This is an awesome Kellogg's Uranium, Vaseline Glass 1 cup/ 8oz measuring cup. It is marked Kellogg's on the bottom. This was an advertising piece made by Kellogg's who is famous for their cereals. The numbers and the letters on this piece are raised as well. It has a unique three spout design. The condition of this cup is excellent. No chips or cracks. You can see some air bubbles within the glass but this happens in the making process. They are not defects. It stands 3 ½" tall and from the outer edge of the pour spout to the outer edge of the handle it measures 4 ¼" across.These were never used in my home. I loved the look and design of them so they simply sat on display.These would be great for a bed and breakfast or would look beautiful in a china hutch. Or better still use them for what they are made for.
