Beautiful antique necklace with 48 green jade/stone beads. I was told they are Ancient Mayan beads strung in the 20th century. The sterling clasp and the string look to be from the 1920's to possibly the 1950's era. Beads measure approx 9.2 mm to 11.4 mm. Measures 18 1/2" long. Weighs 69.5 grams. Gorgeous color! Stones have lots of natural irregularities. I do not detect cracks or damage. Stones show wear and age, some are slightly hazy where they touch. Please view all 11 photos. I'm sure you will know more about these than I do but I will be happy to try an answer any questions you may have, feel free to ask. These beads came out of an estate back when I lived in Las Vegas about 20 years ago.
