(4) Green SALVIATI Murano SWAN OPEN SALTS ALL HAND BLOWN – Lots of Gold Aventurine This is a gorgeous set of Salviati Venetian Murano consisting of 4 GREEN SWAN OPEN SALTS. These are the form made by Salviati which started in the 19 th century. These open salt swans are known for not being carefully made notable and the old Salviati swans typically had twisted bills and sharp points in the glass. The wings were applied separately from the tail. The glass has a pattern in the base back to the tail. The neck, wings, chest and tail are combed glass with heavy gold aventurine throughout the clear glass, particularly in the necks. They have yellow eyes with black pupils. All have open pontil marks on the bottom from being hand blown. The swans are about 3" long, 2 ¼” wide and 2 ¼” tall. Everything is in excellent condition. Any sharp points were made by the glassmaker. It’s not damage. Shipping within 1 day after receipt of payment. International Buyers - International shipping will be added to your invoice. Thank You.
