Nice 6" Green Swirl Glass Candy Dish With Lid Vaseline Depression ? No Reserve

This is a vintage green glass dish or bowl. Most people call this a candy dish but I have also seen some call it a mayonaise or relish dish or a trinket bowl. Whatever you want to call it, the dish is 6 inches tall including the lid. The bowl is 2 3/8 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide. The lid is 3 7/8 inches tall and 4 3/8 inches wide. Both the bowl and the lid have a swirl pattern in the glass. I have looked all over both the bowl and the lid but I do not see any names or company marks or logos. This could be either Depression glass or glass that was made in the 1940's. I do not know. I have tested both the bowl and lid under black light and they both glow so this is Vaseline glass. Both the bowl and the lid are in nice conditon with no chips or cracks as far as I can see or feel. This would be a nice piece to start or add to your collection. This is a no reserve auction with buyer paying actual shipping cost. If you are worried about an item getting lost or damaged in the mail please E mail me and we can discuss an option to cover this.
