Gregory Lonewolf Miniature Egg Santa Clara Pottery This auction brings you a highly desirable miniature egg by Gregory Lonewolf of the Santa Clara Pueblo. This pottery technique was passed down by his father and is characterized by working with miniature forms by precisely carving or incising scenes into the pottery. G regory makes exquisite miniature pottery focusing on wildlife scenes in a polychrome style. The egg offered here came from a gallery that recently closed in Santa Fe, NM. It is in exquisite condition and depicts humming birds and flowers. It is free from cracks, chips, fleabites or repairs. Colors include maroon, dark green, blue, and sandstone. Please note, the pictures don’t capture the brilliance of color and intrinsic detail. It measures approximately 1 1/2" across. Gallery price for this piece was $450.00.
