For Sale: Greiner Ultrason U watchmakers Ultrasonic cleaning machine. The machine has undergone a strip down and a clean of the internal components, such as pumps, filters, alcohol chamber, cleaning chamber and much more. The Ultrasonic transducer has beed cleaned and re-attached with Araldite Glue - High Strength It has also passed a electrical PAT test. These cleaners where used by Rolex and are highly prized (in working order) by watchmakers who know how good they clean. Three chambers, the first for the first rinse (the basket rotates slowly) and the fluid is ultrasonically agitated and filtered and the same time. The second chamber is the Isopropyl Alcohol rinse, again the parts are rinsed in this chamber and then the Isopropyl Alcohol is then drained, distilled, and once clean, then fed back into the chamber. The third chamber is for Epilame treatment of the parts, the chamber is heated by activating a switch and the Epilame becomes heated and treats the parts. there is also a fan heater on the top of the machine. Bad points: Missing basket . This cleaner was used by professional watchmakers and I would advise that it be acquired by somebody who understands its workings.
