This auction is for an original vintage cast iron figure from the American Family on the Ranch series made in the U.S. by the Grey Iron company in the 1940's. There were 12 figures in the series: cowboys, cowgirls, bucking bronco, calf, burro, and some fowl. This auction is for the boy in cowboy suit. He is a little over 2 inches tall. As the pictures show, he has good paint with light overall wear. No rust that I can see (these figures are cast iron, not lead like most other dimestore figures). The last picture shows all of the figures in this series that I have up for sale this week in other auctions.
