This is a virtually new mouthpiece in excellent condition, gold plated.( just 6 months occasional use). About £179 new. No damage or scratches to the rim, only the usual blemish where the shank meets the lead pipe It's a beautiful mouthpiece. Same rim size as a Bach 4g, or Rath L4. Similar to the L4 but not as deep as either. Depth closer to a Bach 5g, although cup not as barrel shaped. This can help produce a warm, silky tone in all registers. It's a good all round mouthpiece and the gold plate makes a difference to a more comfortable feel, and some say the overtones in the sound (although I feel this is a personal thing). Lovers of a Bach 5g who are looking for a little more room in the rim diameter, would suit this. It certainly adds another f to a players fortissimo and a p to pianissimo.
