Hi there! As we sat together watching "How the Grinch stole Christmas", ( & i painted) =) , my son picked out this particular scene & asked if it could be made. ~ tadaa! .....It came out pretty good, if i do say so myself. My son smiled the same little smirk & gave the ok to put up on ebay. ...I have already sold that 1 so you are interested in this 1, place that bid so i can start & have him ready by the time this auction ends ! I've made all sorts of characters in the past for my babies. For a Charlie Brown scene, i made my (then 4 yr. old) daughter as a Peanut character! For the Nightmare before Christmas scene, i made all my kids as ghosts to be included. =) Just one of my ways of keeping them young. =) Anyway, here the Grinch's face is 15 inches wide & 18in. tall. You can use him as you wish. (maybe on a wreath?) (on the door?) Well, that will be up to you. I'm going to put the hooks on the back so you can mount him on the wall, if you'd like. He was primed, handpainted and airbrushed in detail. I use a non-yellowing clear to seal it off. I made him on signboard. The MDO sign board consists of marine-grade wood which is then primed, painted, and sealed for protection. The sign can be cleaned with a wet cloth or with detergent.
