This is a hand written greeting card by Griselda Blanco, who is considered one of the most notorious female mobsters of our time. The written card also comes with a hand addressed envelope that includes her name, address and prison information. The envelope is addressed from Griselda Blanco to "Michael Garcia". The content of the letter is about Griselda expressing her love, compassion and understanding for Michael. Griselda Blanco was known as the Godmother of Cocaine, La Madrina, and the Black Widow and was a drug lord of the Medellín Cartel and a pioneer in the Miami-based cocaine drug trade and underworld during the 1970s and early 1980s. She is the founder of the Medellín Cartel and the mentor of Pablo Escobar. Griselda Blanco was believed to have ordered dozens of vicious drug-related slayings in the 1970s and 80s. In 2012, she he was gunned down by a motorcyle-assassin in Columbia. The documentary film, Cocaine Cowboys II: Hustlin' with the Godmother reflects on the life of Griselda Blanco.
