For auction is a # 6 Griswold Handle Griddle that any collector would be pleased to have in his inventory. This particular size is quite hard to locate, especially in this condition. It was produced between 1925 and 1940. Apparently there was a limited amount of them made as they maintain a very good book and market value. This piece measures 7 3/4" in diameter and weights 2 1/2 pounds. The cooking area is free of any utensil marks and the original polishing lines can be easily seen. The bottom has very well defined printing that is very deeply incised. Very obvious in the pictures. Needless to say, there are no cracks, rust, pitting, or chips. It does not wobble. The P/N is 606 and it has the large block logo. There is a very low starting bid along with a reserve that is less than both book and market value. Please email me with any questions you might have. A word of caution: I doubt if I will be near a computer between Tuesday April 26th through April 28th as we will be headed back north for the summer.
