Griswold Cast Iron #9 Large Block Logo Skillet with Heat Ring – Cleaned and Seasoned This great large block logo skillet with inset heat ring has been cleaned and lightly seasoned. All the nasty baked on crud and carbon buildup have been cleaned off. It is ready to join your cooking staff the day it is received. T is very shallow pitting in the logo area on the bottom. T is a great cooker but not a collector piece. It sits flat on a hard surface without any wobble and t is a very slight upward bow of about 1/16 th inch to the inside bottom cooking surface. This skillet was originally made sometime between 1920 and 1930. It is 11 ¼” across without the pour spouts and 2 ¼” deep. With the handle it is 16 ¼” long. The back of the skillet is marked: Cast Iron Skillet 9 Griswold logo in a double circle – 3 3/8” across Erie PA. , U.S.A. 710 H T is a 9 at the base of the handle on the front. The inside cooking surface is smooth but does have extremely shallow pin point pitting that I can see but not feel. T are no chips, cracks, breaks, rust, or repairs to the piece. T are the usual discoloration and utensil scratches from years of use and age. I clean all of my cast iron back to the original gun metal gray casting or as close as I can.
