Up for bid is a Griswold cast iron skillet, No. 8 704J. It is marked on the bottom GRISWOLD, ERIE P A., U.S.A. 704 J . On the handle it also has the No. 8. It also has a glass lid. I don't know if the lid is original to the skillet but it fits perfectly. On the inside edge of the glass lid it is marked with the letter C and the number 8. The skillet and the lid are in used condition. The skillet has wear on the bottom but the inside is very clean with no rust. It does have marks from use. The glass lid has two minor nicks on the inside edge lip w it rests on the skillet. It has been used so it has the look of use but it is clean.
