For auction is a # 5 Griswold skillet with a Slant "ERIE" logo and Heat Ring. Excellent condition. This pan was made 100 years ago and remains in "Collector" condition. It measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter, and is 1 3/4 inches deep. Weight is 2 pounds and 6 ounces. The bottom is as perfect as when it was made with the heat ring showing hardly any use. The inside cooking area is free of any utensil marks and very smooth to the touch. I see no cracks, pitting, rust, chips, or repairs. It is not warped or bowed. This piece belonged to a collector and is looking for a new home. There is a low starting bid and a RESERVE that is less than book value.
